Music and Dance

All children have the opportunity to participate in the co-curriculum activities including music and dance each Friday. Some children are then identified as having specific talents that can be nurtured to provide further creative outlets for them in the area of public performances. This can occur at both Bethany Home and the more adventurous music and dance exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur and other places with a much wider audience.

Practicing dance routines at local schools is good training for our students to gain confidence in performing to larger audiences. It is also beneficial for the children attending these schools; they gain an appreciation of the capabilities of children with disabilities and a better understanding of barriers and challenges these students face compared with their own situation.
